For PIs - Activate and maintain your share

PIs can request the activation of their share partition by following the below steps.

Note

Your share partition will be named the same as your umnID.

1) Follow this link: and click "Request an MSI Account". You are asking for Tier 1 space. More on data storage here.

Note

Initially, the default will be for 150GB of space. You can request additional space later.

2) Once your share is activated, you will be able to navigate to https://www.msi.umn.edu/group/yourshare where "yourshare" is your umnID.

3) From there, you can click "manage group members".
